Tepper Tech Innovation Challenge
Objective
The Tepper Tech Innovation Challenge is a case competition for 1st year MBA students dedicated to applying business techniques to products in emerging technologies. Our goal is to create a community of forward-thinking students from the best technology-focused business schools in the nation. Hosted by Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business and the Business and Technology Club, the 10th edition will focus on 'AI for Productivity'.

Kick-off Event:
Our kick-off event is scheduled for September 29th, 2025 between 1 - 2 PM ET. Recording of this meeting will be made available for interested students to view.
Eligibility:
This competition is open to 1st year Full time and 1st and 2nd year part time MBA students seeking internship opportunities for Summer 2026.
Each team can have a maximum of 4 participants.

Teams are to register their team for the competition through this google form and submit their white papers through this google form. One team member will register the entire team (4 member team). Each team will be asked to provide the name and email address of each team member, as well as indicate a team leader.
No changes to team members are allowed after registration.
Qualifying Round:
Dates: September 29 - October 10, 2025
Location: Virtual
Submission Deadline: Friday, October 10, 11:59 PM ET
Registered teams will be provided the qualification prompt upon successful registration post 29th September. Teams then have until the deadline to submit a white paper responding via a google form.
The judging committee, consisting of Tepper School of Business alumni and sponsor judges, will decide the best papers. Qualifying Round results will be determined in 3 weeks, and finalists will be announced on October 31st, 2025.
Final Round Submission:
Dates: October 31st - November 22 2025
Location: Virtual
Finalists from the qualifying round will compete in the final round. This will require pitching their ideas in person to the judges' panel on 22 November 2025 (Saturday) at Tepper School of Business.
Qualifying teams will receive swag!
Winners will be determined and awarded on November 22nd.
