Navigating Social Impact Careers: Aligning Ambition with Purpose
Mar
17
14:00 CET
60 minutes
This session is designed for students and professionals looking to pivot into or grow a career in social impact without compromising professional advancement. If you are seeking greater meaning in your work, this session is for you.
During this hour, we will demystify the social impact sector, address common misconceptions, and explore opportunities for growth and innovation. Participants will gain a clear overview of the sector, helping them identify where they best fit and which types of purpose-driven organisations align with their skills and aspirations.
The session will also highlight key challenges in the field, emerging opportunities, and in-demand skills. Building on this industry snapshot, we will examine career pathways, discuss how to align expectations with reality, and identify roles and organisations where business graduates and professionals bring strong transferable skills.
We will conclude with practical guidance on how session participants can position themselves for impact roles, navigate less-structured recruitment processes, and increase their chances of getting hired.
