In this session we will introduce the concept of cross cultural differences / dynamics and have students complete a self-assessment while comparing their cultural norms to the cultural norms of the US culture (or other cultures). This improves both self awareness as well as awareness of others. We will discuss and develop action steps / strategies that each individual can implement to help them more effectively bridge these cultural differences to be more effective in their social, academic, job search & professional settings.
