January 19, 2019
We invite your institution to participate in this year’s Regional Competitions, which will take place November 9th and 10th, 2018. Following the regional events, the top teams (one first place team from each region) will advance to the National Competition on January 18-19, 2019 which will be held at Deloitte University—Deloitte’s learning and leadership development center outside of Dallas, TX.
The Deloitte FanTAXtic Competition provides an opportunity for students from some of the nation’s top accounting and tax programs to gain real-world experience through participation in an interscholastic competition. Each institution can enter up to two teams consisting of a minimum of four or a maximum of five full-time students per team*. Browse this site for more information and to register your team(s). The Regional agenda will be announced after all teams have registered. *Note: Each team must be a mix of four or five undergraduate students which may only include 2-3 freshmen/sophomores and no more than 2 juniors. (One junior can be substituted with a senior, but there can be no more than one senior per team.) Graduate students are no longer eligible to participate.
We look forward to your institution’s participation.
Sponsored by Deloitte and the Deloitte Foundation, Deloitte FanTAXtic is designed to educate and prepare the next generation of tax talent for a career in business and tax. The interactive program includes case simulation, role playing, and presentations that provide students with insights and perspectives on challenges facing the profession today, future trends that may impact it tomorrow, and the overall changing business tax marketplace. Deloitte Tax professionals participate in the event and offer the students support and guidance throughout the competition.
Regional FanTAXtic events occur annually in early November in Deloitte offices across the US. Nine regional teams are then selected to advance to the national Deloitte FanTAXtic competition which is held annually in January. These teams compete for more than $50,000 in individual scholarships and institutional awards at Deloitte University, Deloitte’s national learning and leadership development center near Dallas, Texas.
