As a registered member of Careernomics.comŽ, you can be assured that none of the information that you submit to us will ever be sold or re-distributed without your express consent.

Career Profiles

Since Careernomics.comŽ is a career site, we give you the option of putting your CV in our database.

  • If you are an alumnus/ae:

    Your Career Profile remains confidential at all times. It serves to help us know about your interests and skills so that we can contact you whenever we have matching job opportunities. It is an excellent way to stay informed of job opportunities without being 'on the market'.

    1. You submit your Career Profile online and eventually attach a CV.
    2. Whenever companies contact us for a position matching your interests and skills, we will let you know about the opportunity by email.
    3. You then decide whether to apply for the position or not, and eventually attach a customised CV and cover letter.

    No company can view your Career Profile without your explicit authorisation.

  • If you are a student:

    You may store your Career Profile in our database. It is searchable online by the persons using our Student CV Search service. They can therefore contact you directly. In this case, we are not responsible for the access to, retention of, use, or privacy of your profile.

    Upon your graduation, your Career Profile becomes non-searchable and confidential (as explained above for the alumni).

Security

Careernomics.comŽ undertakes every reasonable endeavour to protect its users' information. Your account is password protected. Only third parties that log on with your password can access your account.

Please remember that you play a valuable part in security as well. Your password to access your account, which you select at registration, should never be shared with anyone and should be changed frequently. And, after you have finished using our Site, you should log off and exit your browser so no unauthorized persons can use our Site with your name and password.

Regardless of the precautions taken by you or by us, "perfect security" does not exist on the Internet. We cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us. You transmit such information at your own risk.

Updating Account Information

Careernomics.comŽ enables you to change or correct your personal information at any time. To do so, simply log into your Careernomics.comŽ account and you will find options for editing the information you have submitted.
